About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mental Health Practitioner to join our Adult Community Mental Health Team as a Lead Professional.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide evidence-based care to clients with complex emotional needs
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality services
  • Develop and implement care plans, assessing and evaluating client progress
  • Provide professional advice and support to other agencies and team members
  • Act as a role model and resource for junior/less experienced staff
Requirements
  • Registered qualification in Mental Health Nursing
  • Membership of a professional body and adherence to their code of conduct and RDaSH trust policies and procedures
  • Additional postgraduate relevant qualifications desirable
Desirable Skills and Knowledge
  • Knowledge of relevant frameworks, legislation, and policy
  • Ability to organize and respond efficiently to complex information and complete high-level risk assessments and care planning
  • Care and assessment of people with mental health problems
  • Interventions, treatment approaches, and evidence-based practice in the care of people with mental illness
