About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Associate Psychologist to join our team at Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Psychological Professionals' Acute Care Pathway, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals with severe and enduring mental illness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct structured interviews, psychological assessments, and observations to inform treatment plans.
  • Develop and deliver bespoke psychological interventions, taking into account complex clinical information and dynamics.
  • Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, service users, and referring agents to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Design, implement, and modify therapeutic groups to meet the needs of service users.
  • Maintain accurate records of work and provide regular updates to referrers and relevant stakeholders.

Requirements
  • Single or Joint Honours Degree in Psychology.
  • Masters in Clinical Associate Psychology.
  • Experience of working with individuals with severe and enduring mental illness.
  • Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Masters-level knowledge of psychological theory and research.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Awareness of the expectations of professional and ethical behaviour.
