Job Summary

Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a qualified Clinical Associate Psychologist to join our team of psychological professionals in the North Lincolnshire Care Group.

The successful candidate will work within our Crisis Resolution and Home Based Treatment Service as part of the Psychological Professionals' Acute Care Pathway, based at Great Oaks in Scunthorpe.

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Clinical Associate Psychologist to contribute to the development of psychological formulations of complex clinical problems and the delivery of care plans.

Main Duties

  • Undertake structured interviews, psychological assessments, and observations of individuals and groups.
  • Assist in the development of psychological formulations and the delivery of care plans.
  • Determine appropriate psychological interventions under the supervision of a practitioner psychologist.
  • Carry out psychological and psychometric tests, develop interview and observation skills, and assess service user/patient needs.
  • Design, implement, and modify appropriate psychological interventions with service users and groups.
  • Communicate confidential and personal information concerning psychological needs to referring agents, multidisciplinary teams, and service users.
  • Assist in the design, coordination, and running of therapeutic groups.
  • Keep appropriate records of work and inform referrers and relevant others through letters or reports.
