Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Clinical Associate Psychologist to join our team in the North Lincolnshire Care Group. The successful candidate will work in our Crisis Resolution and Home Based Treatment Service as part of the Psychological Professionals' Acute Care Pathway, based at Great Oaks in Scunthorpe.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct structured interviews, psychological assessments, and observations of individuals and groups.
  • Develop psychological formulations of complex clinical problems and create care plans that include psychological treatment and/or management of client problems.
  • Determine appropriate psychological interventions, taking into account conflicting clinical information and dynamics under the supervision of a practitioner psychologist.
  • Carry out psychological and psychometric tests, develop interview and observation skills, and assess service user/patient needs.
  • Design, implement, and modify appropriate psychological interventions with service users and groups under the supervision of a practitioner psychologist.
  • Communicate confidential and personal information concerning psychological needs to referring agents, multidisciplinary teams, and service users.
  • Assist in the design, coordination, and running of therapeutic groups.
  • Keep accurate records of work and inform referrers and relevant others through letters or reports defined within the policies for RDaSH.
