About the Role
We are seeking a qualified Clinical Associate Psychologist to join our team in the North Lincolnshire Care Group. As part of the Psychological Professionals' Acute Care Pathway, you will work in our Crisis Resolution and Home Based Treatment Service, based at Great Oaks in Scunthorpe.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake structured interviews, psychological assessments, and observations of individuals and groups.
- Assist in developing psychological formulations of complex clinical problems and care plans, including psychological treatment and management of client problems.
- Determine appropriate psychological intervention, taking into account conflicting clinical information and dynamics under supervision.
- Carry out psychological and psychometric tests, develop interview and observation skills, and assess service user needs.
- Design, implement, and modify bespoke psychological interventions with service users and groups under supervision.
- Communicate confidential and personal information concerning psychological needs to referring agents, multidisciplinary teams, and service users.
- Assist in designing, coordinating, and running therapeutic groups.
- Keep appropriate records of work and inform referrers and relevant others through letters or reports defined within RDaSH policies.
- Work in various settings, including service users' homes, and ensure provision of necessary equipment.

Requirements
- Single or Joint Honours Degree in Psychology.
- Masters in Clinical Associate Psychology.
- Experience of working with individuals with severe and enduring mental illness.
- Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Masters-level knowledge of psychological theory and research.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Awareness of professional and ethical behaviour expectations.
