Role Overview – Repair Claims Coordinator:

We are seeking a Repair Claims Coordinator with a solid background in insurance claims management to collaborate with our repair network, ensuring that agreed scopes of work are executed following insurance claim approvals. This role involves liaising with insurers and loss adjusters throughout the process. While the position is primarily remote, occasional travel for meetings may be required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assign contractors from our network as per client specifications.
  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of repair projects, coordinating timelines and appointments to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Conduct initial estimate validations and verify final accounts along with supporting documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with service level agreements by managing contractor performance and addressing any issues with management.
  • Maintain proactive communication with contractors, policyholders, loss adjusters, and insurers throughout the repair process.
  • Conduct regular quality assurance calls with policyholders to confirm satisfaction with repair progress.
  • Provide management with updates on contractor performance and suggest process improvements.

Candidate Profile

  • Outstanding customer service and negotiation abilities.
  • Experience or understanding of insurance repair processes is essential.
  • Familiarity with providing technical support related to building repairs; training will be provided for those with less experience.
  • Proven ability to manage appointments and communicate effectively with vulnerable clients, maintaining a calm and organized approach to urgent repairs.
  • Empathy towards policyholders, with the ability to navigate challenging conversations.
  • Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a professional team.
  • Proficient in the use of technology.
