About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Palliative Medicine Specialist to join our team at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Fellow in Palliative Care, you will play a key role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our palliative care services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical care to patients with life-limiting illnesses, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive and compassionate care.
  • Participate in ward rounds, MDT meetings, and other clinical activities to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Contribute to the development of our palliative care services, including education, research, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
Person Specification
  • MB ChB/MB BS or equivalent medical qualification.
  • GMC registration.
  • MRCP/MRCGP or equivalent specialist qualification.
  • Experience of palliative medicine or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
