About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Palliative Medicine Fellow to join our team at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Palliative Medicine Fellow, you will play a key role in providing high-quality patient care, education, and research in the field of palliative medicine.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical care to patients with life-limiting illnesses, including symptom management and end-of-life care.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of care plans.
  • Conduct educational sessions and workshops for healthcare professionals on palliative care topics.
  • Contribute to research projects and publications in the field of palliative medicine.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • MB ChB/MB BS degree
  • GMC registration
  • MRCP/MRCGP qualification
  • Experience in palliative medicine or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
