The post holder will be responsible for providing clinical service provision in the Palliative Medicine team, working in various settings including specialist inpatient wards, hospital palliative care teams, community palliative care teams, and the RIPEL project. The post holder will participate in the on-call rota and work alongside consultants, Associate Specialists, Specialty Doctors, and doctors training in Palliative Medicine and General Practice.
Main Duties- Provide clinical service provision in the specialist inpatient wards, hospital palliative care teams, community palliative care teams, and the RIPEL project.

- Contribute to the development and implementation of education and quality improvement projects.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients.
Oxford University Hospitals is a leading healthcare provider, and the Palliative Medicine team is an integral part of the Oncology Directorate. The team provides specialist palliative care services to patients with life-limiting conditions, and the post holder will play a key role in delivering these services.
Team and EnvironmentThe post holder will work as part of a dynamic and multidisciplinary team, comprising consultants, Associate Specialists, Specialty Doctors, and doctors training in Palliative Medicine and General Practice. The team is committed to providing high-quality care to patients and their families, and the post holder will be expected to contribute to this goal.
