Position: Housing Support Specialist

Are you passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of others? Our organization is seeking a committed Housing Support Specialist to assist participants with their accommodation needs.

  • Engage with adult males in both custodial and community environments
  • Partner with probation professionals to perform initial evaluations and customize housing plans for individuals
  • Develop strong professional connections with participants and external stakeholders to encourage constructive changes

The ideal candidate will possess some knowledge of homelessness regulations or experience within the criminal justice sector. However, if you are motivated and can effectively collaborate with diverse groups, we provide training opportunities to further develop your skills.

This position enables you to leverage your expertise to motivate and assist others in achieving their full potential and fostering a brighter future.

In return for your dedication and hard work, we offer a competitive annual salary of £23,088- £24,801 along with the following benefits:

About Us:

Hours: Part-Time, 18.5 hours per week

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload, developing personalized housing plans
  • Conduct initial evaluations, taking into account risks and needs
  • Accurately document progress and outcomes using the case management system
  • Maintain regular communication with participants to address emerging risks
Skills and Experience
  • Experience or knowledge of housing laws is preferred
  • Exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships
  • Familiarity with the Criminal Justice System
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
