About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant with a strong background in mathematics to join our team at a reputable Secondary school in the UK. As a Mathematics Education Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting the class teacher and providing individualized math support to students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering math lessons and providing additional support to students
  • Provide one-to-one and small group math support to students
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of math lesson plans
  • Support the teacher in managing classroom behavior
Requirements
  • Full DBS clearance and ability to obtain an enhanced DBS
  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant
  • Strong background in mathematics, with experience in teaching math to secondary school students
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
