Educational Support Assistant
Location: Bootle
Salary: £450-£500 Weekly Pay (PAYE - No Umbrella Company)

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Educational Support Assistant to join our esteemed Primary School in Bootle, recognized for its exceptional standards. In this role, you will facilitate learning for students and assist the teacher in managing classroom dynamics. Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum of GCSE or equivalent qualifications, including at least a Grade 4 in English and Maths.
  • First-aid certification or a willingness to obtain it.
  • Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) qualification is desirable.
  • Experience in educational settings or similar environments.
  • Proven ability to plan and implement educational activities.
  • A genuine passion for working with children.

Responsibilities of the Educational Support Assistant:

  • Support the educational and social growth of students under the guidance of the head teacher and class educators.
  • Utilize ICT skills to enhance student learning experiences.
  • Provide individualized support to students, both inside and outside the classroom, to encourage full participation in activities.
  • Assist teachers in maintaining accurate student records.
  • Support students facing emotional or behavioral challenges and aid in developing their social skills.
  • Encourage and facilitate the inclusion of all students in learning and extracurricular pursuits.
  • Exhibit strong active listening skills.
