You will work with a caseload of adult males within a custodial or community environment, collaborating with probation practitioners to complete initial assessments and create tailored accommodation plans. This will involve ensuring participants are aware of decisions affecting them and informing them of their rights within the process.

Key Responsibilities

As an Accommodation Support Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a caseload of participants, producing personalized accommodation plans
  • Carrying out initial assessments, considering risk, situation, and need
  • Recording progress and outcomes timely and accurately using case management system
  • Maintaining contact with participants, identifying any emerging risks and concerns
Skills and Experience

We are looking for an individual with:

  • Experience or knowledge of accommodation (including legislation) - desirable
  • Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
  • Experience or knowledge of the work of the Criminal Justice System
  • Good organization skills and ability to meet deadlines
