Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced R&D Tax Manager to join our team at PRO-TAX RECRUITMENT LIMITED. As a key member of our R&D Tax team, you will play a crucial role in providing expert advice on innovation incentives and preparing client submissions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a broad range of client projects, developing client relationships, project management, and advisory skills.
  • Work closely with team members on engagements with clients, delivering high-quality advice and reports.
  • Manage the delivery of advice to partners/directors for approval, balancing review of junior resources and preparation of client reports.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing expert guidance on R&D tax relief and Corporation Tax compliance procedures.
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality work.
Requirements:
  • Science or technology background, with the ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts.
  • Advanced Excel and Word skills, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in mentoring and developing junior team members, with a strong focus on team collaboration and goal-oriented work.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, prioritizing work and delivering results within agreed timescales and budgets.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to generate creative ideas for technical work and business development purposes.
