Eton Bridge Partners is seeking a seasoned Taxation Professional to join our client, a rapidly expanding multinational business, as their Head of Taxation. This strategic role will focus on driving continuous tax improvements to support the company's growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Tax Accounting: Prepare year-end tax numbers for statutory accounts, including workings and disclosure under IFRS, and liaise with external auditors.
- Cash Tax Planning: Develop and manage tax budgets, forecasts, and tax authority payments on account.
- UK Corporation Tax Returns: Prepare and submit tax returns to HMRC, and manage relationships with HMRC.
- Non-UK Taxes: Oversee corporate income tax and VAT management, including tax audits.
- Transfer Pricing: Ensure annual compliance across countries and monitor risk margins.
- Corporate Income Tax Planning: Restructure entities, manage acquisitions or disposals, and establish new countries.
- VAT: Review UK VAT returns, oversee overseas VAT returns, and manage VAT audits and litigation.
- Payroll: Oversee payroll, including PAYE settlement agreements, salary sacrifice, and advice to the HR department.
- Ad-hoc: Provide tax strategy, M&A, Senior Accounting Officer, R&D claims, royalty income, and withholding tax support.
- Relationship Management: Manage relationships with external advisers.
Candidate Profile:
- Qualified Tax Accountant with experience in a SAAS industry.
- International experience and strong tax management skills.
