Role Overview:

The rapidly expanding social media division at Platform Media is in search of a Community Manager to spearhead organic social strategies and content initiatives for the NFL UK's podcast.

The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of the NFL, actively manage social media channels, and collaborate with social producers to enhance video and graphic outputs across various platforms. If you are highly creative, a podcast enthusiast, exceptionally organized, and well-versed in the latest social media trends, this position is tailored for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and execute the social media schedule for various channels.
  • Craft and post engaging content with well-articulated copy.
  • Build and nurture a community of followers across all social platforms, actively engaging with fans to promote growth and sustained interaction.
  • Collaborate with producers and social editors to request weekly content, thumbnails, and graphics to support your planned social media schedule.
  • Coordinate with design, production, and campaign management teams to ensure seamless content delivery across projects.
  • Review podcast recordings to pinpoint key moments for social media utilization.
  • Engage with talent as necessary to disseminate content across multiple channels.
  • Stay informed on developments, trends, and new features across major platforms, integrating these insights into your strategy.
  • Maintain quality control standards for all social media outputs.
  • Develop and manage a comprehensive content archive.
  • Assist the broader team in preparing monthly and quarterly reports for clients regarding strategy and performance.
  • Work closely with account managers to monitor branded campaigns, maintaining an ongoing social media tracker.

Key Skills:

  • Proficient in Premiere Pro and Photoshop.
