Finance Administrator

LOCATION: Central London / Paddington (4 Days Office / 1 Day Remote)
Get-Recruited (UK) Ltd is excited to collaborate with a thriving events organization based in Central London, seeking a skilled Finance Administrator to enhance their finance team.
As the Finance Administrator, your primary responsibilities will include managing the Sales Ledger, Daily Sales Reporting, Purchase Ledger, Expense Management, Credit Card Transactions, Petty Cash Oversight, Bank Reconciliation, and various other financial tasks.
This role is ideal for a seasoned Finance Administrator looking to contribute to a dynamic and innovative company.
- Report directly to the Senior Accountant while collaborating with the broader finance team.
- Oversee the processing of purchase ledger payments.
- Maintain and reconcile the purchase ledger effectively.
- Manage Credit Control, including customer onboarding and credit assessments.
- Address supplier inquiries, perform statement reconciliations, and code invoices accurately.
- Handle expense claims, ensuring thorough review, reconciliation, and posting.
- Monitor company credit card expenditures, processing and posting transactions.
- Occasionally raise debtor invoices and follow up as necessary.
- Ensure all payments and purchases align with business objectives.
We are looking for a finance professional with experience in roles such as Finance Administrator, Assistant Accountant, or Purchase Ledger Clerk. An AAT qualification (Level 2 or Level 3) is preferred, though exceptional candidates currently studying or without formal qualifications will also be considered.
Proficiency in IT, particularly with accounting software and intermediate MS Excel skills, is essential for this position.
