Operational Excellence Project Leader – Manufacturing Sector

Work Arrangement – Hybrid Model

Compensation - £75,000 - £80,000 annually

An Operational Excellence Project Leader is sought for a prominent manufacturing organization. This role is pivotal in managing projects aimed at defining, executing, and assessing Growth and AMPS initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development of lean methodologies, conducting audits, and evaluating equipment standards while providing comprehensive reports on operational status.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrated experience within the manufacturing industry.
  • Possession of Lean/6Sigma certification or equivalent, with a proven track record in developing and applying these methodologies.
  • Mentoring teams in the execution of various initiatives, with a strong focus on operational excellence and adherence to technical standards.
  • Engaging collaboratively with diverse regions to pinpoint best practices and facilitate effective communication across various sites.
  • Coordinating closely with other departments, including IT, Continuous Improvement, Innovation, Production, and Quality Assurance.
  • Actively monitoring and reporting on savings generated from Operational Excellence initiatives.
  • Standardizing and harmonizing processes across multiple locations.
  • Assisting in benchmarking and workshop activities by gathering and analyzing data to identify and implement enhancements.
  • Ensuring adherence to the Company’s Management Systems, including Project, Quality, Environmental, and Health & Safety Regulations, while keeping documentation current.
