Operational Excellence Project Leader – Manufacturing Sector

Work Arrangement – Hybrid Model

Compensation - £75,000 - £80,000 annually

An Operational Excellence Project Leader is sought for a prominent manufacturing organization. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing projects aimed at defining, executing, and assessing Growth and AMPS initiatives. This role will focus on the establishment of lean methodologies, conducting audits, and evaluating equipment standards while providing updates on plant performance in these areas.

Key Responsibilities and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience within the manufacturing industry.
  • Possession of Lean/6Sigma certification or equivalent, along with a proven track record in developing and applying these methodologies.
  • Ability to mentor teams in the execution of various initiatives, with a strong focus on operational excellence and technical standards.
  • Collaboration with diverse regions to identify and share best practices, ensuring effective communication across various sites.
  • Engagement with other departments, including IT, Continuous Improvement, Innovation, Production, and Quality Assurance.
  • Active participation in monitoring savings generated from Operational Excellence initiatives.
  • Standardization and harmonization of processes across multiple locations.
  • Support for benchmarking and workshop activities by gathering and analyzing data to pinpoint and implement enhancements.
  • Ensuring adherence to the Company’s Management Systems, including Project, Quality, Environmental, and Health & Safety Regulations, while keeping them current.
