Project Partners is seeking an experienced Landfill Site Manager to oversee the safe and efficient operation of our landfill site in Rugby, Warwickshire.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Organise and coordinate all aspects of landfill operations, including management of contractors, rail operations, and earthworks.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental permits and incoming waste acceptance criteria.
  • Manage operations in line with local planning conditions.
  • Supervise and train staff to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Develop and implement safe working procedures and risk assessments.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work additional hours as required to meet production needs.
  • Have high computer proficiency, ideally with knowledge of SAP and Office 365 programmes.
Requirements:
  • Hold a Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Have experience of undertaking risk assessments and developing safe working procedures.
  • Have experience of building successful relationships with internal/external stakeholders.
  • Hold or be willing to complete the Level 3 inert Landfill WAMITAB Qualification.
  • Have undertaken Geotechnical Training.
