Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Team Leader to join our team at Daventry Rail Terminal in Crick. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of production staff and ensuring the efficient operation of our co-pack environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and motivate a team of production staff to meet production targets and ensure the final product meets client specifications.
  • Maximise production efficiency and ensure the plan is met on an hourly/daily basis.
  • Use onsite IT and Warehouse Management Systems effectively.
  • Adhere to and promote best practice in accordance with company health, safety, and quality regulations.
  • Ensure all paperwork and systems are completed and accurate in accordance with company procedures.
  • Ensure all areas comply with hygienic audits, both internal and external.
  • Ensure GMP and housekeeping are strictly adhered to.
  • Attend Line Leader meetings and assist in the training and development of new starters.
  • Monitor, control, and minimise waste.
  • Play an active part in continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Previous machine operative, machine minding, and co-pack experience essential.
  • Previous line leader/team leader experience.
  • The ability to consistently reach and exceed targets on several lines throughout the Copack Operation.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with the Production Controller and resolve issues.
  • The ability to work unsupervised.
