Mechanical Operations Leader

Working Hours:
Monday – Friday, Full-Time

Compensation:
Competitive based on experience

Project Partners is seeking a Mechanical Operations Leader to join a dynamic team.

This is a full-time role, and the ideal candidate will be located in the surrounding areas.

Oversee and manage mechanical maintenance resources to ensure optimal plant reliability while adhering to safety, health, environmental, and financial objectives.


  • Lead and manage the mechanical maintenance strategy
  • Collaborate with the Planning Department to guarantee the availability of necessary components; Ensure that inspection outcomes are addressed to meet reliability goals.
  • Organize the allocation of workforce, materials, and equipment
  • Direct the mechanical team regarding efficiency, morale, and conduct.
  • Assess the performance of team members and contractors to ensure tasks are executed as planned.
  • Supervise the execution of preventative maintenance evaluations
Required qualifications include an Apprenticeship or NVQ equivalent or National Certificate (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
* Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Mechanical Coordinator/Maintenance Team Leader or as a Graduate Engineer in a relevant industrial setting
