Fire & Security Project Engineer

Marlowe Fire & Security, a leading entity within the Marlowe Fire and Security Group, is seeking to enhance its workforce with the recruitment of a seasoned Project Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

The Project Engineer will be responsible for the technical engineering, installation, and management of both small and large-scale projects within the Marlowe portfolio. This role involves meticulous planning and execution of projects while ensuring compliance with profitability, health, safety, and quality standards.

  • Deliver projects punctually and within financial constraints.
  • Maintain adherence to project timelines.
  • Coordinate cost documentation with the purchasing department.
  • Organize and oversee the labor and materials necessary for project execution.
  • Allocate engineering documentation to the engineering team and ensure proper commissioning post-project completion.
  • Provide necessary technical support throughout project phases.
  • Participate in site meetings as required.
  • Supervise engineers and subcontractors as assigned, including managing personnel.
  • Oversee the profitability of assigned projects and report to the project manager.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on-site.
  • Conduct installation and commissioning of systems and minor works as needed.
  • Uphold Marlowe's quality and health, safety, and environmental standards.

Access Control Systems: Paxton, PAC, Salto

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in the fire and security sector.
  • Experience managing engineering projects across various locations.
  • Technical proficiency in major systems and project management.
  • Proven technical experience coupled with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary to ensure project completion while adhering to Marlowe's health and safety protocols.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and collaborate effectively in a team or independently.
  • A motivated and enthusiastic individual who thrives in challenging environments.
