Fire & Security Project Engineer

Marlowe Fire & Security, a leading entity within the Marlowe Fire and Security Group, is seeking to enhance its workforce with the recruitment of a skilled Project Engineer.

Role Overview

The Project Engineer will be responsible for the technical engineering, installation, and management of various projects within the Marlowe portfolio. This includes overseeing project planning and commissioning tasks, while collaborating with key clients to ensure timely delivery and adherence to profitability, health, safety, and quality standards.

  • Deliver projects punctually and within financial constraints
  • Maintain project schedules
  • Coordinate cost documentation with the purchasing team
  • Organize and oversee labor and materials necessary for project execution
  • Assign engineering documentation to engineers and ensure proper commissioning post-project completion
  • Provide technical guidance as needed throughout project phases
  • Participate in site meetings as required
  • Supervise engineers and subcontractors as assigned, including managing team performance
  • Monitor project profitability and report to the project manager
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on-site
  • Perform installation and commissioning of systems and minor works as necessary
  • Uphold Marlowe's quality and health, safety, and environmental standards

Intruder Systems: Galaxy, Texecom, Scantronic, Menvier, Risco

CCTV Systems: Hikvision, Dahua, Bosch, Generic Analogue Systems

Access Control Systems: Paxton, PAC, Salto

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in the fire and security sector
  • Experience managing engineering projects across multiple locations
  • Technical proficiency with major systems and projects
  • Strong technical background complemented by excellent interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to travel as needed to ensure project completion while adhering to health and safety protocols
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • A motivated and enthusiastic individual who embraces challenges
