Job Summary:

We are seeking Behaviour Buddies to work on a full or half day basis, providing support to pupils and contributing to raising achievement and attendance in schools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement effective behaviour management strategies to promote positive pupil behaviour.
  • Work collaboratively with classroom teachers to provide targeted support to pupils.
  • Support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and adapt approaches to meet individual needs.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with pupils, teachers, and other school staff.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of behaviour policies and procedures.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with pupils with SEN and behaviour management.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and build positive relationships with pupils, teachers, and other school staff.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt approaches to meet individual needs and circumstances.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
