About the Role:
Teaching Personnel is seeking Behaviour Buddies to work on a full or half day basis, providing support to pupils and contributing to raising achievement and attendance in schools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement effective behaviour management strategies to promote positive pupil behaviour.
- Work collaboratively with classroom teachers to provide targeted support to pupils.
- Support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and adapt approach to meet individual needs.
- Provide pastoral support to pupils, reinforcing self-esteem and promoting a positive attitude.
- Contribute to raising achievement and attendance in schools, ensuring schools meet their attendance targets.
Requirements:
- Experience supporting pupils with SEN.
- Ability to implement positive behaviour management strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well with classroom teachers and other support staff.
- Reliability and flexibility.
- Understanding and commitment to safeguarding procedures.
