Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our newly established Investments, M&A, and Valuation team as a Head of Investments and Valuation. This is a unique opportunity to shape the company's investment strategy, organisation, and internal investment and valuation policies and decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement investment strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Oversee financial modelling and valuation analysis work for prospective investments and divestments of renewable energy assets/projects or companies.
  • Evaluate and challenge inputs to investment decisions, identifying key value drivers and pinpointing core issues within business processes.
  • Effectively communicate with senior management and stakeholders to ensure informed decision-making and understanding of financial impacts.
  • Lead the investment approval process, liaising with business owners, senior management, and the Board of Directors.
  • Lead special projects and business initiatives across the organisation, monitoring their progress and identifying areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, or other advisory roles, with a strong background in global renewable energy businesses.
  • Experience in overseeing complex financial modelling, corporate budgeting, and planning, as well as comprehensive valuation analyses.
  • Strong track-record of leading project-based teams and working effectively in a collaborative environment with various stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
