Job Description

Soft Service Manager (FM) – Corporate Role

£50,000 + Bonuses + Corporate Benefits

Carbon60 is seeking an experienced Soft Service Manager to oversee the delivery of events and hospitality services for their client. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team to provide high-quality services across catering, vending, hospitality, retail, and other areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement operational procedures and standards to ensure exceptional service delivery.
  • Coordinate and supervise managers, including hiring, training, and performance management.
  • Conduct regular reviews and audits to maintain operational efficiency and service quality.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and their employees to ensure their needs and expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all catering, hospitality, and vending service inquiries, concerns, and feedback.
  • Develop and manage budgets for all parts of the contract.
  • Monitor and report on financial performance, including revenue, expenses, labor, and profitability.
  • Oversee corporate events and functions to ensure smooth execution, meeting all client requirements and company standards.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and ensure all team members are trained with appropriate qualifications.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain compliance.

Requirements:

  • IT literate – Microsoft and financial systems.
  • Proven experience as a General Manager or at least 5 years in a Deputy General Manager role.
  • Strong leadership experience and ability to drive and manage change.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practice.
  • Experience with site audits.
  • Proficient in financial management and budgeting, including proven experience in managing a profit and loss statement.
