Job Title: Receptionist/Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Receptionist/Administrator to join our dynamic team at Pearl Medical Centre.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, doctors, and colleagues, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for all.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the practice team, including filing, photocopying, and faxing documents.
  • Manage patient records, including updating and maintaining accurate and confidential information.
  • Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and deal with patient queries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Process repeat prescriptions, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • Assist with scanning and filing of patient letters and documents.
  • Perform computer data entry, including patient registrations and repeat prescription requests.
  • Provide coverage for the telephonist as needed.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as required.
Requirements
  • GCSE level education, including English and Maths, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in reception duties or working with the public.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain confidentiality.
  • Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office.
