Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Leader to join our team at Kings College Hospital. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the delivery of high-quality care to older adults, championing best practices, and promoting excellence in gerontological nursing.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and expertise in the care of older adults, ensuring that care is safe, effective, and person-centered.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the quality of care, patient outcomes, and staff engagement.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and deliver education and training programs for healthcare professionals.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote best practices in gerontological nursing.
  • Represent the organization at local, national, and international meetings to promote the care of older adults and advance the field of gerontological nursing.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as nursing, healthcare management, or a related field.
  • Significant experience in gerontological nursing, including leadership and management roles.
  • Proven track record of improving patient outcomes, staff engagement, and quality of care.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Doctoral degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience in research and publication in gerontological nursing.
  • Certification in gerontological nursing or a related field.
