Senior Clinical Leader

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Clinical Leader to join our team at Kings College Hospital. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving and championing gold standard care for Older People.
Main Responsibilities- Provide clinical, strategic, and professional leadership for Older People nursing, ensuring safe, effective, caring, well-led, and responsive care.
- Lead well-established, supportive, and collaborative multi-disciplinary teams dedicated to ensuring high-quality care of Older People.
- Contribute to the strategic direction and leadership for Older People care services Trust-wide, in conjunction with senior medical colleagues.
- Function as an expert practitioner, delivering high-quality care to patients and families on your caseload.
- Drive the training, education, and development of nurses and allied health professionals working in the department.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve service quality and patient experience for Older People.
- Represent the service at local, national, and international meetings to promote the Older Persons care agenda.
- Management qualification or significant senior management experience in a healthcare setting.
- Masters degree in a relevant field.
- Evidence of post-registration education at degree level in a relevant specialty.
- Engaged in or committed to doctoral qualification.
- Evidence of significant professional and managerial development, including a comprehensive and relevant CPD portfolio.
- ENB 998/Teaching qualification or equivalent.
- Counselling qualification.
- Detailed knowledge of current clinical professional issues relevant to the field.
- Evidence of driving leading-edge clinical practice, supported by advanced theoretical and practical knowledge.
- Ability to develop strategic priorities and organize staff and resources to achieve high-quality patient care and delivery of quality targets.
- Highly advanced planning, organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to demonstrate clinical and personal credibility to a range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Committed to the delivery of holistic services, quality-driven, safe, person-centered, timely, equitable, efficient, and effective.
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to work autonomously to deliver a highly complex range of priorities in a timely fashion.
- A team player and able to work collaboratively.
- Emotionally resilient and able to manage a fluctuating workload in a dynamic environment.
