We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Staff Nurse to join our team at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership to a designated nursing team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and promoting a culture of excellence within the team.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based nursing practices, ensuring that care is tailored to the individual needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care pathways and effective communication.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures, ensuring that they are aligned with Trust objectives and standards.
  • Provide mentorship and support to junior staff members, promoting their professional development and growth.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN/RPN) with a valid NMC registration.
  • Relevant nursing qualification and experience in a pediatric setting.
  • Proven track record of clinical leadership and management experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of current nursing practices, policies, and procedures, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
