Job Overview

As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the delivery of high-quality care to older adults, championing best practices, and promoting excellence in gerontological nursing.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and strategic direction for older adults services, ensuring that care is safe, effective, and person-centered.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes and experience.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and deliver education and training programs for healthcare professionals.
  • Contribute to the development of research and audit initiatives to drive quality improvement and innovation in older adults care.
  • Line manage a team of clinical staff, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure excellent patient care.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as gerontology or nursing.
  • Significant experience in clinical leadership and management, preferably in a hospital setting.
  • Expertise in gerontological nursing, including knowledge of current best practices and research.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and develop evidence-based solutions to improve patient care.
