Clinical Psychologist for Older Adults

**Community Recovery Service for Older People (CRSOP)**
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our Community Recovery Service for Older People (CRSOP) team, working one day a week. CRSOP is a small team providing intensive support to older adults with mental health difficulties within the context of ageing and frailty.
As a Clinical Psychologist in this role, you will work closely with the community teams and hospital division, forming part of a supportive and kind psychology team. Our team has specialist interests in working systemically with older people and their families, delivering CBT, ACT, EMDR, and we are committed to working with carers and families.
We are committed to Continuing Professional Development, and we offer an excellent in-house programme of CPD, including courses in CBT, ACT, EMDR, Psychodynamic and Systemic Approaches.
The post holder will work within the Community Recovery Service for Older People (CRSOP) as a lone psychologist, one day a week. They will provide high-quality and highly specialist psychological assessment and treatment, including group work, working autonomously within professional guidelines and to the overall framework of the services' policies and procedures.
The post holder will offer consultation to aid formulation, diagnosis, and psychological care planning, including the management of challenging and risk behaviours, to non-psychologist colleagues. They will utilise research skills for audit, policy, and service development/quality improvement.
