Job Overview

**Burman Recruitment** is seeking an experienced and proactive HR Reward Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing reward strategies that align with our organisational goals.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  1. **Reward Strategy Development**: Assist in the development, review, and implementation of the organisation's reward strategy, ensuring it is competitive, equitable, and aligned with market trends.
  2. **Benefits Management**: Manage the full range of employee benefits, including pensions, health, wellbeing programs, and flexible working options, ensuring they meet the needs of employees and remain within budget.
  3. **Salary Benchmarking**: Conduct salary benchmarking exercises to ensure pay scales remain competitive and compliant with public sector pay frameworks, and advise on any necessary adjustments.
  4. **Job Evaluation**: Support the job evaluation process, ensuring roles are correctly graded, and provide advice on job classifications and salary bands.
  5. **Policy Development**: Develop, review, and maintain reward and benefits policies, ensuring they reflect best practice and comply with relevant public sector legislation and guidelines.
  6. **Data Analysis**: Analyse and report on compensation data, benefits uptake, and trends to provide insights and recommendations to senior management for improvements and cost efficiencies.
  7. **Communication**: Ensure that all employees are well informed about their reward and benefits packages, and that communications are clear, accessible, and effective.
  8. **Stakeholder Engagement**: Work collaboratively with HR teams, finance departments, and external benefits providers to deliver efficient reward and benefits solutions.

**Requirements:**

  • Proven experience in HR reward and benefits management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Knowledge of public sector pay frameworks and legislation
