About the Role

Portfolio HR & Reward is seeking a highly skilled HR Advisor to join our team. As an HR Advisor, you will play a critical role in providing expert HR and employment law advice to our clients, helping them navigate complex HR processes and procedures.

This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional to gain valuable experience and develop their skills in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You will work closely with our clients to understand their HR needs and provide tailored advice and support to help them achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality HR and employment law advice to clients, either through email or phone, depending on client preference.
  • Receive and respond to a variety of client inquiries, including absence management, grievances, and disciplinaries.
  • Develop and provide supporting information and documentation to assist clients in implementing advice and solutions.
  • Use expert HR and employment law knowledge to develop clear and concise answers for clients.
  • Review client documentation and provide advice accordingly, taking into account applicable internal terms and conditions.
  • Ensure that all requests for advice are dealt with within relevant service level agreements (SLAs).
Requirements
  • Good employment law knowledge, either through studies or working experience.
  • CIPD qualification or equivalent experience in the workplace is desirable.
  • Previous experience of working in a KPI/target driven environment, ideally in a shared service centre, would be highly desirable.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks, prioritizing workload accordingly.
  • An organized self-starter with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-moving performance-driven environment.
