Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Climate Risk Management Consultant to join our team at Timely Recruit Ltd. As a Senior Climate Risk Management Consultant, you will be responsible for advising clients on identifying and managing climate-related risks and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive climate risk assessments, including gap analyses, scenario analysis, and financial quantification of transition risks and opportunities.
  • Develop and implement climate risk management strategies for clients, including setting Net Zero targets and developing decarbonisation roadmaps.
  • Provide expertise on regulatory frameworks, climate policy, and pragmatic implementation strategies.
  • Support clients in preparing TCFD disclosures and financed emissions expertise.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions to enhance board understanding of climate-related financial risks and opportunities.
  • Offer practical adaptation and resilience solutions, integrating climate risk into decision-making.
  • Conduct climate risk due diligence for private equity transactions and support in structuring sustainable finance instruments.
  • Report climate performance in sustainability reports and CDP disclosures.
  • Calculate corporate carbon footprints and develop Net Zero strategies aligned with SBTi targets.
  • Identify GHG reduction opportunities and integrate them into strategic climate action plans.

Requirements:

  • Experience in climate transition risk analysis and consulting.
  • Proficiency in stakeholder engagement, financial modelling, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Track record of delivering consulting solutions for diverse clients.
  • Fluency in one or more European languages is highly desirable.
  • Scope 3 value chain assessment.
  • Climate risk analysis and management, financial accounting, GHG accounting and data management, internal carbon pricing, carbon credits and removals, climate target setting, transition planning.
