About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Climate Risk Management Specialist to join our team at Timely Recruit Ltd. As a Senior Consultant, you will play a key role in advising and guiding clients in identifying risks and opportunities associated with Physical Climate Change and the transition to a low carbon economy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, including gap analyses, scenario analysis, and financial quantification of transition risks and opportunities.
  • Assist clients in setting Net Zero strategies, targets, and developing decarbonisation roadmaps.
  • Provide expertise on regulatory frameworks, climate policy, and pragmatic implementation strategies.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions to enhance board understanding of climate-related financial risks and opportunities.
  • Offer practical adaptation and resilience solutions, integrating climate risk into decision-making.
  • Conduct climate risk due diligence for private equity transactions and support in structuring sustainable finance instruments.
  • Report climate performance in sustainability reports and CDP disclosures.
  • Calculate corporate carbon footprints and develop Net Zero strategies aligned with SBTi targets.
Requirements
  • Experience in climate transition risk analysis and consulting preferably.
  • Proficiency in stakeholder engagement, financial modelling, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Fluency in one or more European languages is highly desirable.
  • Climate risk analysis and management, financial accounting, GHG accounting and data management, internal carbon pricing, carbon credits and removals, climate target setting, transition planning.
