About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Climate Risk Manager to join our Worldwide Sustainability (WWS) organization. As a key member of the ESG Risk team, you will play a critical role in supporting the rapidly expanding Climate Risk Assessment program.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and Implement Climate Risk Assessment Methodology: Contribute to the development and implementation of physical and transition climate risk assessment methodology and models.
  2. Collaborate with Business Units: Collaborate with business units and corporate functions to identify and assess climate impacts, risks, and opportunities across Amazon globally.
  3. Streamline Climate Resilience Efforts: Identify and pursue opportunities to streamline existing and future climate resilience efforts across the business globally.
  4. Provide Input on Climate Risk Management Programs: Provide input into upcoming voluntary and mandatory climate risk management programs, reporting frameworks, and public disclosures; and identify and implement improvements to Amazon's climate risk management programs.
  5. Align with Climate and ESG Regulations: Work with World Wide Sustainability (WWS) subject matter experts to understand and align to existing and upcoming climate and ESG regulations such as the EU CSRD's double materiality principle, the US SEC's climate rule, and the EU's CSDDD objective.
