Job PurposeThis is an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT professional to join our team as a Technical Solutions Specialist. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for leading all IT sales opportunities and projects from start to finish. Your primary focus will be on building and maintaining strong relationships with our suppliers and IT customers, understanding their requirements, and translating them into viable technical solutions.
You will work closely with our sales team to identify untapped IT opportunities within their customer bases and increase opportunities to cross-sell and upsell. Your analytical and problem-solving skills will be essential in driving business growth and delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Be the primary point of contact for all IT sales queries and opportunities, providing expert guidance and support to our customers and internal teams.
- Manage and oversee all IT opportunities for the business, from scope to quotation and implementation, ensuring seamless delivery and outstanding customer service.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including IT consultants, account managers, and technical support teams, to deliver exceptional results and drive business growth.
- Attend prospective IT customer sales meetings to maximize closing deals and build strong relationships with our customers.
- Create and deliver IT training sessions for our sales team, coaching and upskilling colleagues as required, to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in their roles.
- Develop and maintain marketing and sales collateral for the IT vertical, including writing and posting engaging content for our social media channels.
- Proven track record in a pre-sales or technical consulting role within IT, demonstrating the ability to assess customer needs and tailor IT solutions to meet those needs effectively.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in an IT support role and an IT engineer role, with a strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, and networking concepts.
- Proficiency in IT infrastructure, including servers, endpoints, and networking, as well as cloud technologies, such as Microsoft Azure, and networking concepts, including firewalls, routers, switches, and access points.
- Sound understanding of Windows operating systems, including Windows desktop and Windows server, and experience working with virtualization technologies, such as Hyper-V and VMware.
