ROLE OBJECTIVE
This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned IT professional to lead all IT sales initiatives and projects from inception to completion. As our IT product expert, you will be tasked with cultivating and sustaining robust relationships with our suppliers and IT clients, comprehending their needs, and converting them into feasible technical solutions. Staying informed about current market trends, you will collaborate closely with our Sales Team to uncover untapped IT opportunities within their client bases, enhancing prospects for cross-selling and upselling.
We seek a results-oriented individual with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, dedicated to achieving customer satisfaction. This role demands a proactive approach to identifying opportunities and addressing challenges, along with the ability to propose innovative solutions during customer interactions.
Once an opportunity has been identified, scoped, and approved by the client, you will be responsible for drafting the scope of work necessary for provisioning and installing the sold solution, subsequently handing it over to the technical support team for ongoing assistance. This will require excellent coordination skills, technical expertise, and effective communication to ensure seamless delivery and exceptional customer service.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as the 'IT Champion' for Welcomm, serving as the primary contact for all IT sales inquiries and opportunities.
- Oversee and manage all IT opportunities from initial scope through to quotation and implementation.
- Collaborate with internal teams on IT projects, including other IT Consultants, Account Managers, and our IT Technical Support Team.
- Participate in sales meetings with prospective IT clients to maximize deal closures.
- Develop and conduct IT training sessions for the Sales Team, providing coaching and skill enhancement as needed.
- Create marketing and sales materials for the IT sector, including writing and sharing blogs on social media.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Demonstrated experience in a pre-sales or technical consulting capacity within IT, showcasing the ability to assess client needs and customize IT solutions accordingly.
- A minimum of 2 years in an IT Support role and an IT Engineer position.
- Expertise in IT Infrastructure (Servers, Endpoints, Networking), Cloud Technologies (Microsoft Azure), and Networking Concepts (Firewalls, Routers, Switches, Access Points).
- Solid understanding of Windows Operating Systems (both Desktop and Server versions).
- Experience with Virtualization Technologies (such as Hyper-V and VMware).
