Position Overview:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated individual to join our team.

Your Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to become part of the team within the Emergency Department at University Hospital Ayr. You will be a Registered Children's Nurse with current NMC registration, and experience in Emergency Care is preferred. You should demonstrate strong teamwork abilities and the capacity to work independently. Effective listening, interpersonal, and time management skills are essential. Flexibility is required, as you may occasionally need to provide care for adult patients.

In this role, you must exhibit excellent communication skills with nursing colleagues and members of the multi-disciplinary team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring continuous service delivery by addressing the various challenges that arise daily while maintaining safe, effective, and person-centered care.

Additional Information:

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications and experience:

  • First Level Registered Nurse RCN/RN Child branch
  • Proactive in seeking new learning opportunities related to pediatric knowledge and competencies concerning children's health and well-being.
  • Experience in Emergency Department Nursing
  • A strong desire to enhance teamwork skills while demonstrating the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent listening and interpersonal skills.

Working Hours:
