Position Overview:

An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Community Staff Nurse within the Central Ayr Locality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for diverse client groups in a community environment.
  • Manage a caseload in the absence of the Charge Nurse, including the supervision and deployment of nursing staff.
  • Exhibit exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to work independently and as part of a team in various community settings.
  • Show evidence of personal development and a commitment to ongoing training.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • Professional nursing qualification.
  • Degree-level education in a relevant field, such as health studies.
  • Current experience in District Nursing.
  • Strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
  • Highly developed teamwork and interpersonal abilities.

Working Hours: 22.3 hours per week

Driving Requirements: A valid UK driving licence and car ownership are essential for this role.
