About the Role

DevOn India is seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead our Business Development team in the UK and drive growth across Europe. As a key member of our global team, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities through headhunting, networking, and managing a team of Business Development Executives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Business Development Team: Manage a team of Business Development Executives to generate and close business opportunities across Europe.
  • Headhunt New Business: Identify and pursue new business opportunities for DevOn through software development services and AI/DevOps/Agile consultancy.
  • Create Solutions: Develop solutions to meet customer needs, including support for development scope, pricing, and negotiation.
  • Client Satisfaction: Work closely with current clients to ensure satisfaction and business continuity.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with our recruitment team and internal stakeholders to identify and fill skill gaps for Sales and Delivery Teams.
  • Team Leadership: Establish the internal tone of your team, develop, coach, and mentor team members.
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset: Act as an entrepreneur for DevOn, seeking opportunities for innovation and finding new ways to tackle challenges.
  • Financial Management: Oversee the financial health of your region, managing profits and margins, and working closely with our CFO.
  • Brand Representation: Establish an image for our brand through marketing strategies, conferences, meetups, seminars, discussion forums, and knowledge sharing spaces.
Requirements
  • Education: Minimum of Bachelor's degree in education.
  • Experience: 10+ years of business development experience, selling software services in the IT industry.
  • Skills: Experience in successfully building and implementing commercial strategies, proven track record of Sales Excellence in IT or software services to enterprise-level organizations, experience in leading a team of business development executives to hit financial targets, basic knowledge of the software market and modern IT software stacks, experience in offshoring software services to regions such as India is a plus, entrepreneurial mindset, excellent networking, communication, and presentation skills, and ability to discover and close opportunities.
