About the Role

We're seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our team at SparkLayer. As a key member of our growth team, you will play a pivotal role in driving new business opportunities and expanding our customer base.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development and Lead Generation
    • Identify and generate new business opportunities with potential clients through research and outreach efforts.
    • Develop and manage a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities.
    • Work closely with the Marketing Manager to follow up on lead-generating campaigns.
  • Client Relationship Management
    • Qualify new leads and assess their potential fit to use our software.
    • Establish, nurture, and maintain relationships with potential clients through regular communication and understanding their needs.
    • Work closely with potential clients to ensure a smooth transition to the sales and customer success team.
  • Business Development Strategy and Planning
    • Collaborate with the Sales Director to develop strategic business development plans.
    • Leverage CRM systems to track sales activities and report on key metrics to the Sales Director.
  • Sales Demos and Pitches
    • Collaborate with the wider team to create effective sales materials and presentations tailored to different audiences.
    • Deliver compelling sales demos to clients on our starter plans that clearly demonstrate the value and unique advantages of SparkLayer's platform.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration
    • Share insights and feedback from clients with the internal teams to help shape product development and improve the overall customer experience.
