In your role as a Lead Clinical Nurse, your key responsibilities will encompass:
- Maintaining high standards of patient care in alignment with established operational policies and procedures.
- Enhancing the overall experience and satisfaction of patients.
- Serving as a mentor to junior staff and stepping in for the Charge Nurse when necessary.
- Delivering personalized patient care while upholding exemplary standards.
- Exhibiting the courage to raise concerns regarding patient care.
- Conducting yourself in accordance with the Nursing Midwifery Council (NMC) Codes of Professional Conduct and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) standards.
- Registered general nurse level 1/ Diploma / BSc in Nursing studies.
- Demonstrated relevant clinical professional development, ideally supported by certification RN with valid NMC Registration.
- Mentorship Qualification (ENB 998 or equivalent).
- Understanding of the NMC Code of Accountability.
- Strong clinical knowledge grounded in evidence-based practice and national best practice standards.
- Basic skills in workload and shift management.
- Proficiency in computer usage, including software and systems.
- Maths and English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
- A minimum of 18 months post-registration experience.
