Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing exceptional care and support to clients in accordance with their individualized care plans.
  • Assisting clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and mobility support.
  • Monitoring and accurately recording vital signs and relevant health information.
  • Supporting clients with medication management as directed by healthcare professionals.
  • Engaging clients in enriching activities to promote their well-being and independence.
  • Establishing effective communication with clients, their families, and healthcare providers.
  • Maintaining a safe and clean environment for clients, strictly following health and safety guidelines.
  • Responding swiftly and effectively to emergencies, following incident reporting protocols.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Proven compassion and empathy in providing client care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Essential Criteria:

  • Restraint Training PRICE.
  • Mandatory training in care and support, including the UK Core Skills Training Framework - CSTF, covering:
    • Moving & Handling
    • Health and Safety at Work
    • Safeguarding Children and Adults
    • Fire Safety
    • Basic Life Support
    • Infection Control
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
