**Job Title:** Residential Senior Care Assistant

**Location:** Nexxus Care is recruiting a Senior care assistant to work within a busy dementia care home.

**Pay:** £12.44 per hour

**Job Type:** 28hr contract - Permanent

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced Senior care assistant to join our team at Nexxus Care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leading and managing teams, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide high-quality care and support to residents with dementia
  • Lead and manage a team of care assistants to ensure excellent standards of care
  • Develop and implement care plans to meet the individual needs of residents
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment

**Requirements:**

  • Experience in a care setting, preferably with dementia care
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Compassion and empathy for residents and their families
