Position: Lead Night Care Specialist

Compensation: £30 per hour

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Shift Pattern: 50-hour shifts per week

Overview:
The Lead Night Care Specialist will report directly to the Care Manager and will be accountable for the comprehensive physical and emotional support of residents. This role includes providing guidance to the care team, which encompasses the supervision and training of staff members.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the daily operations of the care home in the absence of the Care Manager, ensuring that all objectives are met.
2. Administer and document medication as required, adhering to the established Medication Policy.
3. Deliver a detailed report to the on-duty supervisor at the conclusion of each shift, highlighting the care provided and any notable changes in resident conditions.
4. Offer supervision and support to the care team, fostering a collaborative environment.
5. Engage in the development of care plans and prepare comprehensive care review reports.
6. Evaluate the care practices of all staff, ensuring alignment with the home's objectives.
7. Participate in all aspects of holistic care for the resident group.
8. Maintain administrative and monitoring systems that comply with legal standards.
9. Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures.
10. Work flexible hours to accommodate the needs of the care home.
11. Attend training sessions and staff meetings as required.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Flexibility in shift scheduling
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification
