About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Care and Education Specialist. As a key member of our residential care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to children and young people with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet the needs of the children and young people in line with Ofsted regulations, ensuring their safety, well-being, and happiness.
  • Plan and implement rotas to support the Deputy and Home Manager in various meetings and appointments, promoting effective teamwork and communication.
  • Assist the Registered Manager and/or Deputy Manager in implementing all aspects of the Statement of Purpose, driving continuous improvement and excellence in care.
  • Carry out all reasonable tasks as directed by the Registered Manager and/or Deputy Manager, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Supervise in the absence of the Registered Manager and/or Deputy Manager, taking charge of the team and ensuring seamless delivery of care.
  • Welcome and promote a diverse culture in the home, fostering a sense of belonging and community among residents and staff.
  • Create a safe, family environment for the children, prioritizing their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
Requirements
  • Must be 21 years old due to Ofsted regulations.
  • Hold a valid driving license, as regular travel between locations is required.
  • Have at least six months' experience in children's residential care and hold a relevant Level 3 qualification.
